Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information on your return. To help us prepare it correctly, you agree to:
Provide all of your tax documents and information, including all income, by April 1st so we have time to file by the deadline
Keep the records that support your return, such as receipts, statements, and closing documents, for at least three years
Tell us about any IRS or state notices you receive and any changes in your situation, such as marriage, divorce, a new dependent, or a home sale
Review your completed return carefully before you sign it, and ask us about anything you don't understand
Answer our questions and provide supporting documents if you claim the Earned Income Credit, Child Tax Credit, education credits, or head of household filing status. Federal law requires us to ask these questions and keep records of your answers.
Tell us about any foreign bank or financial accounts, and any cryptocurrency or other digital assets you held, sold, or received. These have separate reporting rules, with significant penalties if they are missed.
We will still prepare your return if your documents arrive after April 1st, but we cannot guarantee it will be filed by the April 15 deadline. If your return is filed late, you may owe late-filing or late-payment penalties and interest, which are your responsibility. We may recommend filing an extension.
If your return is on extension, please provide all remaining documents by April 15th. We will still prepare your return after that date, but we cannot guarantee it will be filed by the extended deadline, and any resulting penalties and interest are your responsibility.
You are responsible for any taxes, penalties, and interest owed on your return.

General Terms
Our errors. If we make an error in preparing your return, we will correct it at no charge. If our error results in a penalty, Divine Financial Group LLC will pay the penalty and any interest charged on that penalty. You remain responsible for any additional tax, and the interest on it, that you would have owed if the return had been correct. This applies only to errors we make, not to errors caused by incomplete or inaccurate information you provide, and only if you send us the IRS or state notice within 30 days of receiving it.
Refunds. The IRS and the Idaho State Tax Commission decide when refunds are issued. We can't guarantee the timing or amount of any refund.
Tax positions. When the tax law is unclear, we will resolve questions in your favor where there is reasonable support to do so. The IRS or the state may review your return and disagree with a position taken, which could result in additional tax, penalties, or interest.
Ending this agreement. Either of us may end this agreement at any time before your return is filed by letting the other know in writing. There is no cost to you for ending it, even if we have already started work on your return. We will return your documents to you.
No refunds after filing. Once your fee has been paid and your return has been filed with the IRS and the state, the fee is non-refundable. If we made an error on your return, we will still correct it at no charge as described under "Our errors."
Term. This agreement covers the tax year shown above and ends when your returns are filed, unless ended sooner.
Limitation of liability. Our fees are kept low in part because of the limits in this section. Except for the penalty and interest we agree to pay under "Our errors," our total liability for any claim related to this agreement is limited to the fees you paid for the services involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, such as lost time, lost income, or missed opportunities, or for errors caused by incomplete or inaccurate information you provide. These limits apply only where the law allows.
Claims and disputes. Please review your return carefully and raise any questions or concerns before you sign it and we file it. By signing, you confirm that the personal information, income, and deductions on your return are complete and accurate, and you accept responsibility for any errors in that information. After filing, we remain responsible only for errors in our own preparation, as described under "Our errors." If you believe we made such an error, you agree to tell us in writing and give us a chance to correct it before taking any other action. Any claim must be brought within one year after you discover it, and no later than two years after your return is filed. Before filing a lawsuit, both of us agree to try mediation in Ada County, Idaho. Any lawsuit must be filed in Ada County, Idaho.
Entire agreement. This agreement, together with our Privacy Notice, is the complete agreement between us about your tax preparation. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
